The chances of Sony themselves rewriting the code themselves to fix this are slim to none, as it's not as simple as cropping an image since the rest of the game uses the entirety of the screen available. Along with the already mentioned longer dialogue boxes and wallpapers, the PSP version is the only version that is actually 'full screen', as in no horizontal black bars at the top and bottom of the screen during gameplay.
